Important: If you plan on joining the complementary field trip to Waterton National Park, please plan on arriving in Lethbridge the night before (Saturday, June 29, 2027). Charter buses will leave for Waterton at 8 am (Sunday, June 30, 2027), and return you back to Lethbridge in time for the evening reception.

If you are arriving at the Calgary International Airport, please book your transport in advance. The University of Lethbridge is approximately 2.5 h drive south (not accounting for Calgary traffic), with limited bus and shuttle service from the Calgary airport. Please note the options below as you plan your arrival.

Rental Cars:  At the Calgary International Airport car rental providers include: Budget, Avis, Enterprise, National, Alamo, Hertz, Thrifty and others. Please book directly with your preferred car rental agency.

Ride Sharing: You can book ride sharing services, but please ensure to book well in advance as not many drivers will accept the trip to Lethbridge.

Bus Service: The Red Arrow has two daily services from the Calgary International Airport and Downtown Calgary to the University of Lethbridge. Additionally, Flixbus offers connections from Calgary and Edmonton to Lethbridge. Tickets should be booked in advance to secure seats.

Shuttle Service: F and L shuttle service offers connections from Calgary Airport to Lethbridge. Best for groups that coordinate their travel.

Lethbridge Airport: Currently no commercial airlines operate out of Lethbridge Airport. Please book air travel through Calgary.

GETTING AROUND LETHBRIDGE

Public transit: Regular service from the University Aperture loop and Residence housing to downtown Lethbridge and surrounding areas. UNIVERSITY PARKING

Visitor Parking is available in Lot N on campus, a short walk from the conference venue. Campus Parking Map

Please note: Parking can by paid via the HonkMobile app, OR cash/credit/debit card at one of the many “Pay and Park Dispensers” on campus.  University of Lethbridge Parking Services requests that a license plate be visible from the “road” side of the vehicle, so please do not drive through or reverse into a spot if your vehicle only has a rear license plate.
